The Joint Council Executive Board is comprised of elected officials from our affiliated Local Unions. The Board meets every month to review current issues and vote on matters such as strike sanctions, political endorsements, contributions to charities, and more. The Board relies on the best interest of the Teamster membership to guide each decision and vote.
Joint Council 37 President Mark Davison previously served as Trustee on the Executive Board at the Joint Council before becoming President in 2023. In addition to his role as JC 37 President, Mark is President of Local 162, International Western Region Vice President and Western Region Package Division Director at the IBT.

Secretary-Treasurer Bob Sleight has served as Secretary-Treasurer since 2021, serving as Vice President for years prior. Bob is also the Secretary-Treasurer of Local Union 162.

Walter LaChapelle has served as Vice President of the JC 37 Executive Board since 2022. He is the Secretary-Treasurer of Local Union 58.

Recording Secretary Chris R. Muhs has held this position since 2016. He is the Secretary-Treasurer of Local Union 324 in Salem, Oregon.

Steve Konopa is a Trustee on the Executive Board. He is also the Secretary-Treasurer of Local 305.

Darel Hardenbrook is a Trustee on the Executive Board. He is also the Secretary-Treasurer of Local 483.
